Very interesting question Jack. I would have been seduced by the thought of power and status and my own fine house and servants.
I would have played off the various powerful gangsters at the time and got the best deal I could for myself and my newly honoured self and assured "the Church" that they could carry on their protection rackets on "my land"and sworn loyalty to their latest King here in England, or to a foreign king the Church were trying to replace him with at the time.
Eventually my family could be called the House of Windsor, or the House of Rothschild, or just "the Church" in Rome.
But here`s a thought, Jack, could we or Robin Hood EVER have held power for any time and TRULY represented the peasantry at all? How did the Communists get on?
How was it that Rothschild`s CIA and their buddy George Soros dismantled the Soviet Union for the enrichment of the Bilderberger Crew and their Israel and Wall Street/City of London?

I have often wondered if it`s possible to have a successful revolution in the modern world?
Back in the times of the Peasants Revolt I imagine that if we had been successful (and the King had acceded to our demands) another king representing France or Spain or Europe`s chief political gangsters (who called themselves "the Church" in Rome) would have started sabotaging and declaring war on us and would eventually have "regime changed" us back into a feudal England much like every other European power at the time.
Wat Tyler and I would have been presented with the choice of dying (gloriously in battle)or ignominiously (like Gaddafi or Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden)OR becoming a rich feudal baron of the sort who had been oppressing us and importing cheap labour to return us peasants back to servitude (like Clinton and Blair).
My question to Julian is whether it`s possible to use the Internet to break this historical pattern whereby revolutionaries either become as bad or worse than the leaders they deposed. Is what the Americans call "change" (at election time) even POSSIBLE anywhere in the world,and if so, HOW?
