Since RT News is a Russian News Broadcast, I would like to know why Russia is not offering Assange asylum? If Assange is brought to the U.S., he will be executed, there is no doubt about it.
The powers that be want to silence this journalist (yes, he has been in journalism for many years, even though he did not go to college. Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs all left college, but they are considered computer engineers and business man).
I hope Ecuador can go against the grain, but I find it hard to believe that they will be able to stand up to the U.S.

Glad they haven’t broken you, and hope you’re able to find a way to avoid the World Police. The US has officially become a police state with complete media lock down. Today, even with over a decade of war in Afghanistan, its barely covered by the corporate media. When the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law on December 31st 2011, effectively stripping US citizens of the last of their civil rights, and endangering people worldwide by allowing anyone in any country of any nationality "suspected" of wrongdoing by the US gov to be indefinitely detained without a right to legal representation, the corporate media was mute. When Obama signed the “FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012”, into law on February 14, authorizing the private and government use of military drones over US territory without regulation of any kind (30,000 are expected to be in US airspace by 2015), there was barely a whisper by the corporate media. Corporations write the very laws that govern their industries and install their own people as heads of the government agencies meant to oversee them; still, the corporate media remains silent. As far as the upcoming elections I think that the Egyptians said it best "We have a choice between Cholera and The Plague". I hope that the people of this planet can find a way to look past race, nationality, and religion, and find solutions to our many urgent problems.
